I understand that you are the Chateau Victoria General Manager and I am writing to advise you of the fabulous service that we recently received.
Jerry and I were married on Saturday, August 31st and had a lunch reception in the Harbour Room at Vista 18 at . Sarah Berry was our contact and helped organize/book our small event for us. We met with Sarah on a couple of occasions before August 31st and she was extremely helpful, kind and pleasant with assisting us in choosing our lunch menu, wine, etc. The service we received from her was exceptional and she went out of her way to ensure that our event was perfect in every way.
During the lunch reception, Sarah was not available, however we understand that she did stop by to check to see that everything was in order which to us is above and beyond the call of duty. The food was impeccable and we had rave reviews about it from our family and friends that were in attendance. They also really enjoyed the private space and as the weather was so nice that day, the views were beautiful. Most of the guests plan to return in the future, either to eat in the restaurant or book the Harbour Room for other events.
I also want to commend Kevin, the Food and Beverage Manager and his staff on the incredible service and timeliness of serving the food and beverages. Everything was perfect and the staff, including Kevin, communicated with us in a friendly and pleasant manner throughout the event to ensure everything was to our liking.
We can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we encountered with your staff and restaurant. We know that people often do not receive enough accolades for their hard work and great customer service and I hope that you can pass on this message. Also, great staff are born from good leadership!
A huge thank you to everyone who provided such a great event for us on August 31st, 2013. It will remain very memorable to us and all those who attended.
