Restaurant Supervisor/Host

Upscale, high volume hotel restaurant is seeking experienced and energetic individual to join our dynamic team in the role of evening Restaurant Supervisor/Host.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all restaurant patrons and support for the employee team. The qualified candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, telephone manner, organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The Role:
•Responsible for greeting the guests, seating them and explaining any specials or other relevant information.
•Scheduling dining reservations and arranging large parties and special services for all diners.
•Assigning work tasks and coordinating activities of dining room personnel to ensure efficient procedures and prompt, courteous service to patrons.
•Assisting and supporting all service employees where necessary (i.e.: clearing plates, setting tables)

Requirements:
•Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Must have strong problem solving skills
•1 year prior food & beverage supervisory experience required
•Excellent associate and guest relation skills are necessary
•Must have previous customer service experience, preferably in a related environment
•Must be able to fulfill a full and active (on your feet) 8 hour shift per day
•Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
•A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not necessary
