Visit The Beacon Hill Children’s Farm This Spring
I love spring in BC! It symbolizes renewal and growth. Warmer days, fun outdoor activities and so much more…One thing I never miss in Victoria is a visit to the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm. This is the season where all the babies are born. What a treat!
In fact, several baby goats have already been born this month. Shawn gave birth to quadruplets, and Ocean gave birth to a boy they named Surfer. How cute is that?
Families are able to get up and close with many of the goats. It’s so neat to see the pregnant Mammas and the new babies. Children can pet and feed them and watch them in the goat stampede. There are also ponies, pigs, mice and sheep.
With a suggested donation of $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for kids, it’s one of the more affordable activities in the city. If you’re planning a visit to Victoria, don’t forget to stop in at the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm.
