Elevator Modernization

In order to maintain and improve our hotel’s high standards of service, we will fully modernize our elevator system between October 15, 2018, and May 31, 2019.

During this project (scheduled for our slowest season), only two of three elevators will be operational. The upgrades will be implemented one elevator at a time to ensure continuous service for our in-house guests, and during busy times, such as the winter holidays, we will operate all three elevators to account for the increased activity.

Our current elevators are nearing the end of their reliable and efficient life cycle and must be replaced. With new technologies and control systems now available, we expect to see a significant increase in operating efficiency, a reduction in wait times, and faster elevators overall.
